At 716 AM EST, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near North Manchester to 6 miles east of Wabash to near Elwood. Movement was northeast at 60 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Marion, Huntington, Peru, Wabash, Hartford City, Gas City, Upland, Fairmount, Grissom Afb, Jonesboro, Sweetser, Andrews, Markle, Walton, Swayzee, Bunker Hill, La Fontaine, Van Buren, Matthews, and Mexico. This includes Interstate 69 in Indiana between mile markers 252 and 291.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
