At 1245 AM CST, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Arma to near Cherokee. Movement was northeast at 75 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Pittsburg, Prairie State Park, Nevada, Fort Scott, Frontenac, Girard, Arma, Liberal, Cherokee, Sheldon, Mulberry, Chicopee, Mindenmines, Franklin, Arcadia, Bronaugh, Fulton, Moundville, Richards, and Deerfield.
Instruction: 
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 100 AM CST for southeastern Kansas...and southwestern and west central Missouri.
