At 1241 AM CST, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms along a line extending from Victoria to near Peoria. Movement was northeast at 40 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Peoria, East Peoria, Chillicothe, Lacon, West Peoria, Metamora, Germantown Hills, Henry, Minonk, Rome, Toluca, Washburn, Wenona, Spring Bay, Benson, Sparland, Varna, Camp Grove, Edelstein, and Peoria Heights. This includes the following highways... Interstate 39 between mile markers 25 and 40. Interstate 474 near mile marker 8. Interstate 74 between mile markers 89 and 94.
