Description: 
At 1056 PM CST, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Clinton to 4 miles east of Pomona Lake to 3 miles northwest of Waverly. Movement was east at 40 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down small tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Ottawa, Baldwin City, Eudora, Wellsville, Centropolis, Pomona, Williamsburg, Quenemo, Melvern, Lone Star, Princeton, Pleasant Grove, Vinland, Pomona Lake, and Globe. This includes Interstate 35 between mile markers 159 and 198.
Instruction: 
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. A Tornado Watch remains in effect until midnight CST for east central Kansas.
