Description: 
At 1029 PM CST, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 5 miles southwest of Meriden to 3 miles south of Tecumseh to 3 miles southeast of Carbondale. Movement was northeast at 50 mph. HAZARD...Strong wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Topeka, Lawrence, Carbondale, Valley Falls, Oskaloosa, Tecumseh, Eudora, Richland, Overbrook, Perry, McLouth, Meriden, Ozawkie, Nortonville, Lecompton, Clinton, Winchester, Lone Star, Williamstown, and Perry Lake. This includes Kansas Turnpike between mile markers 178 and 205.
Instruction: 
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. A Tornado Watch remains in effect until midnight CST for northeastern and east central Kansas...and northeastern Kansas.
