Description:
At 904 PM CST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
McFarland, moving northeast at 50 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down small tree limbs and blow
around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor
objects and vegetation is possible.
Locations impacted include...
Rossville, Alma, St. Marys, Maple Hill, McFarland, Paxico, Belvue,
Emmett, and Delia.
This includes Interstate 70 between mile markers 325 and 336.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CST for northeastern
and east central Kansas.
