At 811 PM CST, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 8 miles northwest of White City to near Tampa. Movement was northeast at 45 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down small tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Herington, White City, Alta Vista, Dwight, Woodbine, Wilsey, Parkerville, Latimer, and Burdick.
Instruction: 
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CST for central and east central Kansas.
