Description:
Fog will continue to develop and thicken early this morning until
showers and thunderstorms arrive. Some of this fog will be dense
with visibilties reduced down to a quarter of a mile and may
linger across portions of the area through 7 AM, especially in
Illinois. Incoming showers and increasing winds will improve the
visibility across the area after 7 AM.
If driving early this morning be prepared for sudden reductions
in visibility along with rapidly changing visibility over short
distances. When encountering fog reduce your speed, use low beam
headlights, and also increase your following distance.
