Description:
At 1255 AM CST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 4
miles east of Hartford, moving northeast at 45 mph.
HAZARD...Strong wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Emporia, Burlington, Lebo, Waverly, Olpe, New Strawn, Melvern,
Hartford, Gridley, Neosho Rapids, Reading, Olivet, Beto Junction,
John Redmond Reservoir, and Melvern Lake.
This includes the following highways...
Interstate 35 between mile markers 128 and 167.
Kansas Turnpike between mile markers 120 and 140.
