Description:
At 717 PM CST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 11
miles northwest of Vinson, or 16 miles northeast of Wellington,
moving northeast at 50 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of southeastern
Wheeler and northeastern Collingsworth Counties.
This includes Interstate 40 between mile markers 173 and 176.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
