Description:
Wet surfaces from widespread snowmelt today are expected to freeze
tonight as temperatures drop below freezing. This will allow for
patchy black ice to develop on untreated road surfaces. Travelers
tonight and into the early morning hours should take extra
precautions while driving as black ice is difficult to see at
night. Walkways, parking lots and driveways may also see black ice
form, causing slippery conditions for pedestrians.
