Description:
At 720 PM EST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 9
miles southwest of Paoli, moving east at 50 mph. This storm has
displayed rotation in the past several minutes.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 45 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Paoli, French Lick, Stampers Creek, West Baden Springs, Hardinsburg,
Livonia, Fredericksburg, Smedley, Chambersburg, and Rosebud.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
