Description:
At 527 PM CST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Houston, moving northeast at 50 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Ozark National Scenic Riverways, Houston, Raymondville, Yukon,
Hartshorn, Solo, Akers, Simmons, Elk Creek, and Eunice.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM CST for
south central Missouri.
