Description:
At 406 PM CST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Mountain Grove, moving east at 45 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Mountain Grove, Cabool, Simmons, and Elk Creek.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM CST for
south central and southwestern Missouri.
