Description: 
Widespread areas of fog, locally dense, will continue over much of central IL into this evening north of I-70. The visibility will be restricted to a quarter mile at times and may become more common this evening as fog likely expands, leading to potentially hazardous travel conditions. Expect rapid changes in visibility over short distances. Be sure to slow down if you encounter dense fog. Use low beam headlights if driving, and leave plenty of distance between you and the vehicle ahead.
