Description: 
Patchy dense fog will occur over portions of central IL into mid afternoon especially in portions of central and west central IL, and gradually lifting during mid to late afternoon. Visibility may be restricted to a quarter mile at times especially early this afternoon, leading to potentially hazardous travel conditions. Expect rapid changes in visibility over short distances. Fog will likely become more widespread again during tonight over central IL. Be sure to slow down if you encounter dense fog. Use low beam headlights if driving, and leave plenty of distance between you and the vehicle ahead.
