Description: 
Patchy dense fog will occur over portions of central IL into midday especially in east central IL, and gradually lift during the afternoon. Visibility may be restricted to a quarter mile at times through noon, leading to potentially hazardous travel conditions. Expect rapid changes in visibility over short distances. Be sure to slow down if you encounter dense fog. Use low beam headlights if driving, and leave plenty of distance between you and the vehicle ahead.
