Description:
At 808 AM CST, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Walnut Grove to Ash Grove to 6 miles
northwest of Republic. Movement was east at 50 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Springfield, Republic, Battlefield, Willard, Strafford, Ash Grove,
Fair Grove, Walnut Grove, Pleasant Hope, Brookline, Halltown,
Chesapeake, Glidewell, Sacville, Ebenezer, Bassville, Brighton,
Turners, Bois D'arc, and Olive.
This includes Interstate 44 between mile markers 55 and 68, and
between mile markers 70 and 90.
