At 742 AM CST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Miller, or 9 miles northwest of Mount Vernon, moving east at 40 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Mount Vernon, Ash Grove, Miller, Walnut Grove, Everton, Stotts City, Halltown, Red Oak, Pennsboro, and Bois D'arc. This includes Interstate 44 between mile markers 50 and 68.
