Description:
At 740 AM CST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Strafford, moving northeast at 40 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and nickel size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Northeastern Springfield, Marshfield, Strafford, Fair Grove, Niangua,
Elkland, Bassville, Turners, and Northview.
This includes Interstate 44 between mile markers 78 and 109.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
