Description:
At 314 PM CST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Mackinaw, or near Morton, moving east at 55 mph.
HAZARD...Half inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.
Locations impacted include...
Morton, Mackinaw, Danvers, Goodfield, Deer Creek, Carlock, and
Congerville.
This includes the following highways...
Interstate 155 between mile markers 25 and 31.
Interstate 74 between mile markers 102 and 122.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
