At 257 PM CST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Glasford, or 8 miles west of Pekin, moving east at 50 mph. HAZARD...Penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Peoria, Pekin, East Peoria, Morton, Washington, Bartonville, Creve Coeur, West Peoria, Marquette Heights, Tremont, Bellevue, Glasford, Mapleton, Peoria International Airport, North Pekin, Groveland, Kingston Mines, Smithville, and Powerton. This includes the following highways... Interstate 155 between mile markers 24 and 31. Interstate 474 between mile markers 4 and 14. Interstate 74 between mile markers 91 and 102.
