Description:
At 254 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Roughlock Falls, or 9 miles west of Lead, moving northwest at 15 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Northwestern Spearfish, Iron Creek Lake, Crow Peak, Roughlock Falls,
Savoy, Bridal Veil Falls, Terry Peak, and Spearfish Canyon.
This includes Interstate 90 in South Dakota between Mile Markers 3
and 9.
