Description: 
At 1019 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Degrey Rec Area, or 18 miles south of Blunt, moving northeast at 15 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Degrey Rec Area, Lake Sharpe, and northwestern Lower Brule Reservation.
Instruction: 
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Persons in campgrounds should consider seeking sturdy shelter until this storm passes. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until midnight CDT for central South Dakota.
