Description:
At 819 PM CDT, trained weather spotters reported a cluster of strong
thunderstorms near Degrey Rec Area, or 13 miles south of Blunt,
moving northeast at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Trained weather spotters.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Blunt, Harrold, Stephan, Rousseau, Lake Sharpe, Joe Creek Rec Area,
Holabird, Canning, West Bend Rec Area, Degrey Rec Area, and Crow
Creek Reservation.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for
central South Dakota.
