Description:
At 423 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 4 miles north of Antelope Butte to 2 miles east
of Saint Onge. Movement was northeast at 15 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Strong thunderstorms will be near...
Fruitdale, Belle Fourche Reservoir, Antelope Butte, and Arpan
around 430 PM MDT.
This includes Interstate 90 in South Dakota between Mile Markers 11
and 25.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM MDT for
west central South Dakota.
