At 330 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms over Crazy Horse Memorial, or 3 miles northwest of Custer, moving north at 25 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. This strong thunderstorm will be near... Crazy Horse Memorial, Sylvan Lake, and northwestern Custer State Park around 335 PM MDT. Medicine Mountain around 340 PM MDT.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM MDT for southwestern and west central South Dakota.
