Description:
At 946 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Degrey Rec
Area, or 11 miles south of Blunt, moving northeast at 20 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Trained weather spotters. At 935 pm the SDSU mesonet site
17 miles east of Pierre recorded a peak wind gust of 65 mph.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Harrold.
Instruction:
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until midnight CDT for central
South Dakota.

building.
