Description:
At 617 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 10 miles west of
Ottumwa, or 15 miles northeast of Philip, moving northeast at 40 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Ottumwa.
Instruction:
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM MDT for west central
South Dakota.
