...CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS THROUGH SUNDAY ACROSS PORTIONS OF NORTHEASTERN WYOMING AND WESTERN SOUTH DAKOTA... .Warm, dry, and breezy weather will support critical fire weather conditions over northeastern Wyoming and southwestern South Dakota this afternoon and again Sunday afternoon. In addition, isolated dry thunderstorms are possible late this afternoon and evening. While confidence in timing and occurrence is low, erratic wind gusts in excess of 50 MPH would be possible if a dry thunderstorm occurs. The National Weather Service in Rapid City has issued a Red Flag Warning for gusty winds and low relative humidity, which is in effect from 11 AM MDT /noon CDT/ to 9 PM MDT /10 PM CDT/ Sunday. * AFFECTED AREA...Fire Weather Zones 331 Haakon County Area, 333 Bennett County Area, 334 Mellette and Todd Counties and 335 Tripp County. * WINDS...West 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph. * RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 13 percent. * IMPACTS...The combination of gusty winds and low relative humidity will produce critical fire weather conditions.
