At 427 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Gaston, or 8 miles south of Cayce, moving southeast at 5 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Gaston, SC State Farmer's Market, New Zion, Silver Lake, and Lexington Acres Pond. This includes Interstate 26 between mile markers 118 and 125.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
