Description: 
At 800 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Brookdale to 8 miles northwest of Holly Hill to near Cross. Movement was south at 20 mph. ...Boaters on Lake Marion Should Seek Safe Harbor... HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Orangeburg, Brookdale, Holly Hill, Bowman, Elloree, Orangeburg County Airport, Santee State Park, Claflin College, South Carolina State University, Santee, Cameron, Eutawville, Vance, Poplar Creek Landing, Stumphole Landing, Rocks Pond Campground and Marina, Yonder Field, Wilkinson Heights, Prince of Orange Mall, and Eautaw Springs. This includes the following highways... Interstate 26 between mile markers 143 and 169. Interstate 95 between mile markers 85 and 106.

Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways. Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms. Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm.
