At 304 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Oakland to 7 miles south of Poinsett State Park. Movement was northeast at 15 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Sumter, South Sumter, Shaw Air Base, Mulberry, Oakland, Sumter County Airport, Millwood, Poinsett State Park, Pinewood, Paxville, Cane Savannah, Dalzell, Dinkins Mill, Lakewood, Privateer, Wedgewood, East Sumter, Cherryvale, Stateburg, and Woodrow.
Instruction: 
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
