At 721 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over North Charleston, moving east at 35 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... North Charleston, Mount Pleasant, Summerville, Goose Creek, Hanahan, Naval Weapons Station Charleston, Daniel Island, I-26/I-526 Interchange, Ladson and West Ashley. This includes the following highways... I-26 between mile markers 201 and 216. I-526 between mile markers 16 and 25.
