- At 330 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have
fallen.
- A first round of rainfall over the last hour has contributed to
isolated areas of saturated soils and intense runoff. A second
round of rainfall will imminently affect some of these areas as
well as areas just upstream along Weaver and Burgess Creeks, and
worsen conditions over the next 30 to 45 minutes.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Table Rock State Park and Pumpkintown.
Roadways along Hwy 11 in the vicinity of Burgess Creek and Weaver
Creek may experience nuisance or isolated minor flooding. This
could include Saluda Hill Rd, Mulligan Ford Hill Rd, and Pumpkin
Town Rd.

Instruction:
Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law
enforcement and request they pass this information to the National
Weather Service when you can do so safely.
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are
potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded
roads. Find an alternate route.
