* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...Charleston County in southeastern South Carolina... * WHEN...Until 815 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Water over roadways. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 636 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated rain has ended across the Charleston peninsula. Emergency management officials report a number of roads in Downtown Charleston are still flooded and closed. City inundation sensors indicate water levels are starting to fall as water drains throughout the city. While additional near term flooding is unlikely, conditions remain hazardous throughout the downtown area. Another round of showers and thunderstorms could impact the area later this evening. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Downtown Charleston, Medical University Of South Carolina, Marion Square, Columbus Street Terminal and The Citadel.
Instruction: 
Do not drive around police barricades. Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
