* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of central South Carolina, including the following county, Lancaster. * WHEN...Until 1215 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 911 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms just north of the SC/NC State line. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen over portions of southern Charlotte. As this water flows southward and into northern Lancaster county, this will cause urban and small stream flooding. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over southern Charlotte. This additional rain will result in minor flooding over northern Lancaster county.. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
