The National Weather Service in Great Falls has issued a
* Snow Squall Warning for...
Central Broadwater County in southwestern Montana...
* Until 145 PM MDT.
* At 110 PM MDT, a dangerous snow squall was located near Townsend,
moving east at 15 mph.
HAZARD...Intense bursts of heavy snow. Gusty winds leading to
blowing snow and visibility rapidly falling to less than
one-quarter mile. Wind gusts greater than 35 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Travel will become difficult and potentially dangerous
within minutes.
This includes Highway 12 near mile marker 9, near mile marker 8, near
mile marker 7, near mile marker 6, near mile marker 5, near mile
marker 4, near mile marker 3, near mile marker 2, between mile
markers 13 and 11, between mile markers 10 and 1, between mile
markers 82 and 80, and between mile markers 79 and 70.

Townsend and Silos.
Instruction:
Slow Down! Rapid changes in visibility and road conditions are
expected with this dangerous snow squall. Be alert for sudden
whiteout conditions.
Reduce speed and turn on headlights! During snow squalls, the
visibility may suddenly drop to near zero in whiteout conditions.
