At 437 PM CDT, a dangerous snow squall was located along a line extending from near Hardin to Chilhowee, moving east at 35 mph. HAZARD...Intense bursts of heavy snow. Gusty winds leading to blowing snow and rapidly falling visibility. Wind gusts greater than 35 mph. SOURCE...Radar and webcams. IMPACT...Travel will become difficult and potentially dangerous within minutes. This includes Interstate 70 in Missouri between mile markers 30 and 62. Locations impacted include... Warrensburg, Odessa, Higginsville, Lexington, Knob Noster, Concordia, Holden, Whiteman Air Force Base, Waverly, Wellington, Leeton, Corder, Alma, Chilhowee, Kingsville, Blackburn, Mayview, Whiteman Afb, Lake Lafayette, and Centerview.
