At 438 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Kilmarnock to near Deltaville to Blakes, moving northeast at 50 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect damage to trees and powerlines. These severe storms will be near... Deltaville around 445 PM EDT. Other locations impacted by these severe thunderstorms include Amburg, Foxwells, and Hardyville.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 700 PM EDT for eastern Virginia. Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the basement or small central room in a sturdy structure. For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building.
