Smith County in northeastern Texas... * Until 500 PM CDT. * At 417 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line from over Lindale to 19 miles northwest of Reese, or along a line from 12 miles northwest of Tyler to 21 miles southwest of Tyler, moving east at 40 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. * Locations impacted include... Tyler, Whitehouse, Lindale, Bullard, Noonday and New Chapel Hill.
