Description:
At 350 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Golden, or 6
miles north of Mineola, moving east at 40 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Gilmer, Mineola, Quitman, Hainesville, Rosewood, Golden, Midway,
Grice, Perryville, Pritchett and Bettie.
Instruction:
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large
hail.
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 900 PM CDT Sunday for a
portion of northeast Texas.
