Description:
At 550 AM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from Hungry Mother State Park to near Elk Park, moving
northeast at 35 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Newport, Gatlinburg, Parrottsville, Smoky Mountains-Newfound Gap,
Smoky Mountains-Balsam Mountain, Pittman Center, Caney Branch, Del
Rio, Cedar Creek, and Cosby.
This includes Interstate 40 in Tennessee between mile markers 435 and
450.
