At 447 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Trough Creek
State Park, moving east at 50 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...ASOS Weather Station. At 4:30 PM 60 MPH winds was reported
at KAOO in Altoona.
IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Mount Union, Raystown Dam, Walnut, Trough Creek State Park, Blacklog,
Mapleton, McVeytown, Mill Creek, Kistler, Longfellow, Newton
Hamilton, and Atkinson Mills.
Instruction:
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 800 PM EDT for central
Pennsylvania.
