At 345 PM EST, a severe thunderstorm was located 8 miles south of
Avella, moving northeast at 50 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Washington, Avella, Wolfdale, McGovern, East Washington,
Claysville, Hickory, West Alexander, Taylorstown, West Middletown
and Meadow Lands.
Instruction:
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and has
produced large hail.
