At 948 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 6 miles southeast of
Newcomerstown, or 12 miles west of Freeport, moving east at 45 mph.
HAZARD...Ping pong ball size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect damage
to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles.
Locations impacted include...
Freeport, Newcomerstown, Port Washington, Tippecanoe, Stillwater,
Gilmore, Piedmont, Deersville, Birmingham, Clendening Lake and
Tappan Lake.
Instruction:
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing large hail.
