Description:
At 933 AM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Fort Recovery,
moving northeast at 65 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect damage to trees and power lines.
Locations impacted include...
Celina, Coldwater, St. Henry, Fort Recovery, Rockford, Wabash,
Mendon, Osgood, Chickasaw, Burkettsville, North Star, Montezuma, New
Weston, Yorkshire, Tama, North Dayton, Rose Hill, Maria Stein, Eldora
Speedway, and Neptune.
Instruction:
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until noon EDT for west central
Ohio.
Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
