At 1009 AM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from Buffalo Ridge to near King, moving east at 30 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Pinnacle...
and Collinstown.
Instruction:
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 200 PM EDT for north central
North Carolina...and south central, southwestern and west central
Virginia.
Prepare immediately for DAMAGING WINDS. For your safety, move to an
interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy building. Stay away
from windows.
