North central Beaufort County in eastern North Carolina... * Until 315 PM EDT. * At 230 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Hinson, or 9 miles southwest of Plymouth, moving northeast at 45 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. * Locations impacted include... Plymouth, Pinetown, Pungo, Pike Road, Wenona, Hinson, Westover, Pleasant Grove, Terra Ceia, Scuppernong, Phelps Lake, Mackeys, Roper, Long Acre VFD, Jamesville, and Dardens.
