* Until 230 PM EDT.
* At 127 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located between Supply
and Boiling Spring Lakes, moving northeast at 50 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect wind damage to trees and power lines.

Wilmington, Leland, Burgaw, Wrightsville Beach, Surf City, Figure
Eight Island, Hampstead, Boiling Spring Lakes, St. James,
Northwest, Topsail Beach, Maple Hill, Hightsville, Long Creek, Cape
Fear Community College North Campus, Wilmington International
Airport, Murrayville, Castle Hayne, Ogden, and Winnabow.
Instruction:
Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 800 PM EDT for southeastern
North Carolina.
